Hello, Patriot. The fact that you’re curious
about the Family Survival Course tells me two things: You love your family, and you’re concerned about the future. It was these two things that got me interested in survivalism several years ago. I live on the gulf coast, and though hurricane Katrina didn’t harm my city very much, I was shocked at the pitiful response by our government in New Orleans. Then a few years later when the economy turned south, I began to realize just how fragile our system is. And despite what the media would have you believe, things are worse than ever. If you want to know what I’m talking about, read these 3 frightening facts.
Unfortunately, I wasted a lot of money when I first started prepping. I bought hundreds of dollars worth of survival books and MRE’s. I didn’t know that most of those books are full of useless information, and I didn’t realize how unhealthy MRE’s are and that no one should eat them for an extended period of time.
The truth is, you don’t have to become a total expert to survive the next crisis. For example, you probably won’t need to rub two sticks together to build a fire. You’re far better off buying a pack of Bic lighters from Walmart. But there are some skills that will be absolutely essential when the time comes. The Family Survival Course cuts out all the fluff and teaches you exactly what you need to know to ride out the next disaster.

Despite the advice of companies that sell “survival food,” you don’t want to be stuck eating MRE’s and dehydrated food everyday. Many of these foods are full of sodium and trans fats. Although they might hold you over during a temporary disaster like a hurricane or an earthquake, you don’t want to eat them for long because your health will suffer. It’s important to prepare for a long-term disasters as well, especially considering where our economy is headed. So instead of spending thousands of dollars on these unhealthy ready-made meals, you should go to a store like Sam’s Club or Costco.

The Family Survival Course identifies 44 essential food items that will cover all your nutritional needs and allow you to make any type of meal. With this information your family will look like the people in the picture on the left above instead of like everyone else, as shown on the right.
The long-term Family Survival Course is a collaboration between Jason Richards and John Lahan. Just so you know what you’re getting into, let me tell you about these two men.
Jason Richards is the founder of SurviveFoodCrisis.org and has been an expert on preparedness for years, but his sense of urgency went through the roof a few years ago when he realized just how dire our situation is. Massive government deficits have put our country on the verge of hyperinflation. And as if that weren’t bad enough, half of our soils are useless, heat waves are killing our crops, and the threat of terrorism is on the rise. Because most cities only have a few days of food on hand, we are just one major crisis away from total chaos. It was this realization that inspired him to step up his preparations and survival skills. To do so, he sought out the best instructor he could find: John Lahan.
John Lahan teaches survival workshops and boot camps in Pasadena, California that are so popular, he is booked solid for years. He’s an ex-military who fought in Afghanistan and knows military survival skills. Although he already could have been called an expert, he became an absolute fanatic after his home was destroyed in hurricane Katrina. He quickly realized he couldn’t afford all the gear and supplies he wanted, so he had to expand his knowledge and get creative. Eventually, he took everything he learned and started his survival training school.
After Jason completed the workshops, he approached John and asked if he could take information from John’s lessons and create the ultimate family survival course. After all, not everyone can afford to fly to Pasadena and pay for extremely expensive workshops or wait years to get into one. John liked the idea, and the rest is history.
